SIGMA advised Consorcio Panama Cuarto Puente on the closing of a US$1,428 Million zero coupon senior secured notes – 144A/ regS financing for the design and construction of the Fourth Bridge over the Panama Canal.
The fourth bridge will be a road infrastructure that includes a cable-stayed bridge, viaducts and interchanges for vehicular use.
The bridge will be located over the Panama Canal, north of the Bridge of the Americas. Its objective is to connect Panama City with the inhabitants of the West Bank of the Canal. It will improve the quality of life of users who daily use the route that connects Panama City with the Western sector and the interior of the country.
