SIGMA was established by Cecilio Castillero in 2016 as a boutique transactional law firm practicing Panamanian law. Since its establishment, SIGMA has become the first Panamanian law firm specializing solely in complex transactions, including corporate and project financings, capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and construction contracts.
The firm’s objective is to provide the highest quality legal services and solutions to its clients in respect of complex transactions. However, if the particular needs of a client or a transaction exceed SIGMA’s in-house capabilities, SIGMA will satisfy those needs by putting together teams of selected Panamanian and international attorneys and organizing and supervising their work imperceptibly to the client.
