The renowned publication Latin Lawyer has recognized, in the Project Finance: Infrastructure Award category, one of the transactions in which SIGMA served as legal advisor.

The Latin Lawyer Awards highlight the most significant transactions and cases in Latin America, as well as the legal teams involved.

The award was granted for the USD 1.4 billion financing agreement for the construction of the Fourth Bridge over the Panama Canal — one of the most important infrastructure projects in the country’s recent history due to its impact on connectivity and economic development.

This recognition further strengthens SIGMA’s position as a leading firm in project finance, mergers and acquisitions, and capital markets.

The award ceremony was held last week in São Paulo, Brazil.
